L’associazione Mesali è costituita da un gruppo di ristoratori accomunati dal desiderio di valorizzare il territorio, la cultura, i prodotti e le tradizioni irpine. Al centro della filosofia di Mesali c’è la volontà di rendere centrali il gusto originale dei piatti, i prodotti nostrani e le persone che ruotano attorno al cibo, dai produttori ai fruitori delle ricette. La cucina di Mesali è fatta da ingredienti e materie prime di qualità e da una radicata consapevolezza della tradizione, talora rispettata fedelmente, talvolta rivisitata dall’estro creativo degli chef. I ristoranti associati sono disseminati su tutto il territorio della provincia di Avellino e si distinguono non solo per l’alta qualità della ristorazione, ma anche per una particolare attitudine a considerare la gastronomia come un fatto culturale e sociale, un valore aggiunto alle grandi potenzialità storiche, artistiche, paesaggistiche e antropologiche di un territorio dal significativo bagaglio culturale.

Mesali association is constituted by a group of restaurateurs joined by the desire to increase the value of the territory, the culture, the products and Irpinian traditions. At the core of the Mesali philosophy there is the will to centralize the original taste of the dishes, the local products and people that rotate around the food, from producers to consumers of the recipes. Mesali cuisine is made by ingredients and raw materials of good quality and by a deep-rooted awareness of the tradition, sometimes faithfully respected, sometimes revisited by the chefs’ creativity. The associate restaurants are disseminated on the whole territory of Avellino and province and they are not only distinguished for the high quality of the foodservice industry, but also for a special attitude to consider the gastronomy as a cultural and social fact, a value-added to the great historical, artistic, landscaped and anthropological potentialities of a territory with a meaningful cultural background.
